If you want to get to know your Boston, MA neighbors who agree with egalitarian ideas--people like the ones pictured here--or who are at least interested in such ideas, please eat and chat with us at Athan's bakery and restaurant (407 Washington St. in Brighton Center) on the second Sunday of the month from 11AM-Noon (and later for those who wish.) When you go there you'll recognize us because I will have placed some PDRBoston stickers like this one

About Athan's

 

I couldn't find Athan's menu at its website but having gone there many times I know that it includes traditional brunch kind of things as well as various sandwiches and soups and all sorts of pastries. It's OK to join us and not buy anything to eat, by the way.

 

Also, there is ample free parking both on and off the street nearby. The 57 bus goes right to Athan's and the 86 bus stop at Market & Washington St. is only one block away.
