What are these Local Assemblies All About?

To get information about your community, or to get help starting your own community's Local Assembly of Egalitarians, email us at PeopleforDemocraticRevolution@gmail.com

Mission: All egalitarians (and only egalitarians) of the community are invited to the Assembly to discuss how to promote public understanding of what egalitarianism is, why it’s much better than the status quo, and how to build the egalitarian revolutionary movement. In an egalitarian society the Local Assembly of Brighton Egalitarians would be the ONLY body that makes laws people in the community would have to obey. One thing we do is write and post examples of such laws so people can see how much better egalitarianism is.

*An egalitarian is any person who supports:

  • Equality (in the sense of “no rich and no poor,” not “equal opportunity” to get richer than others) and

  • Mutual Aid (or Solidarity, meaning helping each other, not being pitted against others in competition by an oppressor to control us)
